2015 Pride Celebration in St. Louis, June 26-27.

Celebrations were held on South Grand and downtown over several days to celebrate Gay Pride. But this year's festivities were especially relevant because of the Supreme Court decision making same sex marriage the law of the land just a day earlier.

Thousands converged on downtown for the Sunday noon parade that ran for over two hours. There were booths for food, drink as well as products and services - and the merriment was very contagious through the crowd of gay and straight visitors; men and women spanning all ages. Local politicians were also on hand to revel in the delayed equalization of marriage rights to LGBT citizens. The overall mood there was exuberant.
